About VEA Supper Club
VEA (Vivek’s Epicurean Adventures) Supper Club was founded in 2011 as a pop-up restaurant experience. Vivek Surti, VEA’s founder and noted Nashville food blogger, says in an October interview with Nashville Scene, “I just knew that I wanted to provide what I now call unique, fun and delicious events for people in Nashville. I just thought it would be fun to have an experience where people can go in. It’s a small number of people, it’s a set amount of courses where the food is unique, and it’s paired with great cocktails or beer or wine — and do it in a way that really built community.”
VIvek seeks to tell stories centered around the things he loves the most – great food and strong drinks – and grounded in his own story as, in his words, “an Indian kid who grew up in the South.” Vivek says, “At the end of the day, it’s all about delivering something tasty on your plate, something you haven’t had before and hopefully something you’ll come back for.”
